Aruna is a 2003 Kristen Yachts 50 Pilot House steel trawler that became part of the family in December of 2023.
Aruna is a steel trawler hull, #3 built by Kristen Yachts of British Columbia, Canada, a manufacturer of blue water sailboats and trawler yachts. She is a Greg Marshall design. Kristen built seven trawlers in varying sizes from 46-62'. She has various features including a get-home hydraulic power takeoff from the generator with separate shaft, active fin stabilization, bow & stern thruster, diesel heating, air conditioning, and fuel consumption of only 3-4 gallons per hour.
